Chemistry and SAT

We began working with Jessie mid-school year for our daughter, who was struggling in her 11th-grade chemistry class. Our college advisor recommended her when we asked if she knew of anyone who might be a good fit for our daughter’s personality profile. What a great fit! Jessie is very approachable, which is essential when you have an introverted student. She was very accommodating whenever schedule changes needed to happen. In addition to science tutoring, Jessie also took on the role of a math SAT tutor for our daughter. I was amazed by how super organized Jessie’s interactions were. After practice tests, she gave a detailed analysis of each answer. Tips on test taking and narrowing it down to the best solution were constructive when you didn’t know the answer. ACT Prep

Jessie was recommended to us by our college advisor. My daughter began working with her one session per week either in person or virtually after taking a practice ACT at home and deciding that this was the test for her. My daughter’s needs were in math and science and Jessie designed a plan and developed a schedule that considered the rest of her junior year’s demands. After five sessions, my daughter sat for the February exam which yielded an improvement from her home test score. She achieved the score targets on each section that were established at their initial meeting. Jessie analyzed the results provided by the testing service and refined her plan focusing on specific content. They established new goals, and she took the April exam and achieved them all. She was very relieved to be finished with the standardized testing before her AP exams and ahead of her senior year. Jessie’s approach in her tutoring worked very well for my daughter.
